Cooking Instructions

Step 1: Marinate the Fish

In a small bowl prepared for marinade, blend Avocado oil, lime juice, smoked paprika, mustard powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black, and white pepper. dont forget to place the haddock or cod fillets into the mix, also making sure they are well coated. It is advised that, you left the fish to marinate for at least 20 minutes to allow all the flavors to be absorbed.

Step 2: Prepare the Mango Salsa

During this time chop the red bell pepper mango jalapeno avocado and red onion for the salsa. after that combine the chopped ingredients with the lime juice and avocado oil in a bowl. Ease up the slow addition of a pinch of salt and mix the solution blandly with a spoon. Set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Fish

Make sure to heat a pan on medium-high heat. Place the fish in the pan, on a layer of the marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side and until golden and easily flaking. What you do is put the remaining oil and seasoning in the pan, those will be enough to sort of caramelize or crisp up your tortillas.

Step 4: Make the Spicy Mayo

In a bowl mix together mayonnaise, Sriracha, garlic and lime juice. After that Mix the soup with an immersion blender until it is smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Assemble the Tacos

  • Put a part of the grilled fish on each tortilla.
  • Serve it atop with a liberal spoonful of mango salsa.
  • Finally spread the spicy mayo sauce on it.

Serving Suggestions

These tacos are best eaten with additional lime wedges which add an extra burst of freshness. They are best eaten alongside a portion of black beans or a basic side of lettuce and greens. You can try having an ice-cold beer or sparkling water with lime if you are taking your drinks.

Tips and Variations

  • Mango Salsa Twist: Include some chopped cilantro for that pleasant, green aroma.
  • Spicy Mayo Adjustment: Prefer less heat? Try to put less Sriracha or replace it with an ordinary hot sauce.
  • Taco Shells: You can use the hard taco shells or fry the tortillas for some extra crisp.
  • Dietary Modifications: Make it gluten-free, use only the certified gluten-free tortillas for it.

Personal Notes

I consider this recipe a hit among my favorite meals when I am craving tacos without making a mess of frying. The flavors in that grilled marinade is so intense with smokiness accompanied by spiciness; the sweetness of that mango salsa cool it down. The spiciness of mayonnaise used in this recipe was just right to complement the ingredients mix. With each batch that I prepare, I am immediately transported to the coasts of summer which are uncomplicated, food and good enough.
